What is Venturing?

Venturing is a co-ed section of the Boy Scouts of America for youths ages 14-21. Venturing provides opportunities to:
  • Develop character and personal growth
  • Explore personal interests and develop new ones
  • Builds leadership skills via youth-run-youth-lead
  • Create lifelong memories 

Who Can Join?

Any male or female who is at least 14 years of age, or have completed the 8th grade

What Types of Activities Can Venturers Do?

Venturing Crews are versatile. Each Crew can decide what they wish to do--the options are limitless! These are some activities that local Crews have participated in: 
  • Scuba Diving
  • Rifle Shooting
  • White Water Rafting
  • Wilderness Survival
  • Sailing
  • Camping
  • Venture Quest/Multi-Crew Activities
